At Key Stage 2 the National Curriculum is followed through the Opening Minds programme. Literacy, Numeracy, PHSE and PE are taught as discreet subjects, although they will also be reinforced through Opening Minds.

The resources within the primary classroom enable us to meet a wide range of need. It provides a positive environment which allows pupils to develop their learning styles, self-confidence and self-esteem.

The staff team are all trained to work with pupils with complex needs and understand the need for flexibility and positive reinforcement throughout the school day. The staff team comprises of one class teacher, PE teacher, PHSE teacher and a classroom assistant working with a class of no more than 6 pupils.
